It has been a very trying year for us but with our faith in God and each other we have made it through. This Christmas will be hard as well but what is Christmas really about? It has somehow lost much of it's meaning for many in recent years. Even if you are not religious, you can agree that it goes much deeper than material possessions. My wonderful children know that they are not getting as much this year and in spite of it all, they wish to donate to kids that are less fortunate than themselves. I was brought to tears by these sweet angels. So we packed up boxes for children in other countries and I am donating money to Christian foundations for Christmas. Analise is even gathering change so that next time we see a Salvation Army representative outside of a store she can give them her money. I want my kids to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas but I also want them to enjoy the fun and exciting aspects of the holidays as well. I think they deserve it. Maybe that is where
